The Invitation

1

Picture yourself taking the Lord’s hand turning around from the age that you are right now and walking back through your years to your earliest memory.

What is it?

What's the emotion present in this memory?

Is the memory good or challenging?

Wherever the memory lands, stop for a moment, look around and say, “Holy Spirit you are welcome here and every memory from here and into my current age. I open my heart to you. I open my mind to you.

To begin a journey with Jesus and to receive His salvation, we first must invite Him into our hearts.
“If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead you will be saved.” Romans 10:9 ESV
The root word here for saved is sozo. Sozo as defined by Strongs concordance (g4982) as:
A. to save, keep safe and sound, to rescue from danger or destruction.
B. To save a suffering one i.e. one suffering from disease, to make well, heal, restore to health

With the same faith that it took you to accept Jesus as your savior is the same faith that can translate you from broken to whole. God desires to sozo you, but an invitation is required.

As we journey into a place of deep healing we first invite the Peace of God to come and rest amongst us right here in our space. The John 14:27 kind of peace, it is the ointment… the anesthesia needed to prepare ourselves to heal.

Father, we invite you right now into our healing process. Thank you for your peace that surpasses all understanding and your grace and mercy that flows fleely in this journey. You have our permission into every area of our memory, our thoughts and our ailments. You have it all. We trust you. We love you. You are our Abba. Thank you Holy Spirit for your work along this process. We declare our ears are open to hear you, our eyes are open to see you. No Spirit but the Holy Spirit is welcome in my healing journey. In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
